Return Policy

WHAT IS OUR RETURN POLICY?

We want you to love your pair of boots as much as we do! Though, if you aren’t entirely happy with your order, please get in touch with us so we can make it right. We offer one free exchange for any unaltered boots exchanged within 14 days of the original purchase date on domestic (US) orders. If you choose to return for refund, the shipping cost will be held from your refund to cover shipping and restocking fees. 

All boots must be clean & unaltered. We recommend walking on a clean surface or carpet when trying them on so as to not dirty the soles.

*We don't offer returns/exchanges on international shipments. If your order was shipped outside of the US, orders are not eligible for a return or exchange. Please email us at backroadsboots@gmail.com and we can provide you with exact measurements of the boots so you have a better idea of the fit.

Allow up to 3-5 business days for your exchange to be processed once your package arrives at our warehouse. We will cover the shipping cost to return the shoes back to you.

*If the item is listed as final sale at the time of purchase, it will not be eligible for a return or exchange. 
*International orders cannot be returned or exchanged.

HOW DO I RETURN MY ITEMS?

Send us an email to initiate a return or exchange. Once your return is approved, you will receive an email with step-by-step instructions and a prepaid shipping label via email.

Please make sure to use the return shipping label that we provide and reuse the original shipping box or bag that was used to send it back to us in. Boots must be in their original state, they cannot be worn, altered, or dirty. We recommend walking in a carpet or a clean surface to try them out to make sure they are a good fit. If boots do turn out to be altered or clear signs of being worn. We charge a cleaning fee of $20 (this amount is deducted from your refund total).

Tracking shows as delivered, but I don’t have my package.

Please check your front porch, side door, back porch, garage area, bushes, mailbox, and mail room to make sure it’s not hiding or jammed. Also, please ask any neighbors, housemates, concierges, and coworkers (if delivered to work) if they may have received it for you.

Please note that in these cases we must file a carrier claim and a refund will not be issued until the completion of the carrier investigation.

WHAT ARE MY RETURN OPTIONS?

We currently offer returns for one exchange or a partial refund. 

HOW MANY TIMES CAN I EXCHANGE?

The first exchange is FREE. We cover the shipping costs for both the return and sending the exchanged item(s). At the moment we can only offer ONE free exchange. For a 2nd exchange, we ask that the shipping fees be paid by the customer. Typically, when exchanging for a different size, we will give you exact measurements so you may decide whether you want to do the exchange or receive a refund.
